Canadier
Twelve students from the Josef-Wilhelm School, a private special school of the Adolf Aich GmbH vocational training establishment, have been working on an unusual project. In the course of their year of preparation for employment, they built a Canadian canoe
BESSEY supported this interesting project by donating fifty Bessey all-steel screw clamps. The result of the team work by twelve committed young people was a unique,twelve-man canoe, ten metres long, made entirely by hand. Having stood up to its maiden voyage in style in June 2006, nothing stood in the way of a final outing on Lake Constance in July 2006. An outstanding result for the students. Visitors to the 45th INTERBOOT Boat Show in Friedrichshafen could have an opportunity to admire it. New products from the world of water sports had been on display from 23.09.06 to 01.10.06.
We, at BESSEY, are pleased to have contributed to the progress of the young people during their training and wish them every success in their future careers.
