VarioClippix receives an award
The opening width of the new BESSEY spring clamp is infinitely adjustable. VarioClippix combines easy and clever handling and a special design. This affirms the award with the iF design award 2005.
One of the most important design competition worldwide is the “ iF design award 2005. An award has received the VarioClippix – a real innovation. Opening width is infinitely adjustable by moving the clamping arm of the spring clamp. It does the work of 4 different large standard spring clamps, offering optimum handling.
Constant clamping force – by moving the clamping arm the maximum clamping force can be obtained at any opening. Moreover, clamping force is easy to control. Easy and quick adjustment of the clamping arm. Softpads for damage free clamping of the material, and soft and anti-slip component ergonomic handle.
VarioClippix is available in two sizes: with an opening from 100 to 50 millimeter and a depth of 50 respectively 37 millimeter.
740 participants of 31 countries had been competing to obtain the IF Award. An international Jury granted the awards which were issued on criteria such as form, processing, functionality and innovation. The VarioClippix of BESSEY was convincing in its safety and ergonomics. All prize winners will be exhibiting their products in an Online Trade under www.ifdesign.de. A tradefair with the prize-winning products will begin on March 10 in the IF building on the tradefair grounds in Hannover.
