BESSEY SUPPORTS THE PROJECT “Starting Block” of ‘Karlshöhe Ludwigsburg’ .
The students of class 9c of the “Oststadtschule Ludwigsburg ” (school located in the East of the City) have been given the opportunity of an apprenticeship after their school leaving diploma. Due to the intensive application training in the project “Starting Block”, the boys and girls now know fairly well what company they will be able to join to be trained in their favourite profession.
BESSEY supports the project “Starting Block” with a donation of 7500 Euro. The Governors of the project are “the Karlshöhe” Ludwigsburg, a charitable institution for children and young people, and a group called “Youcare” a Youth Welfare Institution of the Protestant Society. Each week the tutors of the Youth Welfare Institution of the Karlshöhe coach the students how to set out their application papers properly, how to participate correctly in interviews when applying for an apprenticeship place, and how to conduct convincing arguments.
” We do need qualified trainees” was Mr. Bilstein’s opinion. For this reason, the BESSEY Corporation sees it as their task to facilitate a successful entry into professional life for young people. In addition, the pupils / students are permitted to participate in an application training offered by BESSEY. Herr Huber, the Head of Human Resources at BESSEY, will instruct the youngsters how they can do better in an application interview and is giving them useful practical advice.
When Herr Bilstein handed over the Cheque to the Eastern City School (Oststadtschule), he reasoned as follows: “As the BESSEY Corporation wants to keep growing, qualified staff will be needed. As qualified staff is not a product that grows on trees, BESSEY has taken the initiative by contributing the above donation..
