ERDI tin snips with new design
The ERDI tin snips now appear in a new guise. The new tin snips generation consists of a shape and straight cutting snips with improved cutting performance, a Shape cutting snips and a Straight cutting snips.
Shape and straight cutting snips - less physical force required The ERDI shape and straight cutting snips from BESSEY set new standards in efficiency and design. The leverage ratio and shape of the cutting edges are perfectly matched, with the result that they require 25% less effort on the part of the user.
At the same time, the ERDI shape and straight cutting snips is a genuine all-rounder, permitting long, straight cuts as well as complex shape cuts. This is made possible by the compact design of the new cutter head.
Although devoid of finely serrated edges, the optimised shape of ERDI Shape and straight cutting snips cutting edges ensures that the material is securely held between the blades. This means that no snips marks are left on the sheet metal.
Practical additions
With its ERDI Shape cutting snips, BESSEY meets the requirements of professional users who also wish to cut small-radius curves. The Straight-cutting snips permit long, straight cuts.
Cutting power
The professional´s snips will cut metal sheets up to 1.5 mm thick, easily and evenly. When cutting through a seam , they can even cope with metal sheets up to 1.8 mm thick. The cutter heads are drop forged and heat treated, as well as being inductive -hardened along the cutting edge, making them resistant to wear and ensuring prolonged durability.
Safe cutting
The two-piece component handles are designed to ensure that D29 SS-2 series snips fit the hand securely and comfortably. While the handles themselves are still finished in black, the soft plastic inlays are colour coded. Whether red, blue, green or violet, the user can immediately identify the quality of his ERDI snips from this colour.
