The clever way – no blocks

Blocks are history. Quickly, dependably, and without any additional blocks, BESSEY´s U-clamps can be used for the first time to fix T-beams, steel channel sections and I-sections by over-gripping. Depending on requirements, the clamps come with spindle or practical clamping lever for rapid clamping.

U-Clamps with spindle: With the U-Clamp from BESSEY, curved to a U-shape, joiners or steel erectors can now concentrate fully on their actual work and hence save lots of time thanks to over-grip-style clamping of T-beams or channel sections. Wooden blocks or ad-hoc arrangements are no longer needed.

Thanks to the special pressure plate, swivelling by up to 35 degrees and with tempered pressure pin, even angled parts can be dependably clamped with a force between 4000 N and 22000 N depending on the design. U-screw clamps with wear-resistant and precise spindles for over-gripping and conventional clamping are available in three variants with throats/spans of 120/250 mm, 140/300 mm and 175/400 mm. Prices start at 38 euros.

U-Clamps with clamping lever: The handy U-Clamps with clamping lever are ideal when several clamps need to be positioned and also released again on steel channel, T and I sections. Thanks to the precision catch mechanism of the powerful lever arm, together with the serrated sliding jaw and the catch pawls, high clamping forces are achieved. The release lever is positioned on the ergonomically shaped clamping lever for easy access. The swivellable steel pressure cap is case-hardened and galvanized. These time-saving lever clamps are available with spans of 250 and 300 mm and maximum clamping forces of 3800 N and 7000 N. Prices start at 50.50 euros.
