BESSEY fit for the Future
At the exhibition ‘Practical World’ which took place in Cologne, BESSEY was able to present its products with success. This shows that BESSEY as a company is fit for the future. Its turnover rose by 27 per cent to 104 million Euro in 2005. Now BESSEY is going to re-enforce its transactions abroad.
A positive Development
During the world leading exhibition ‘Practical World’`, hardware and tool specialists have been meeting with tradesmen every two years. This time, 3450 exhibitors from 58 countries were presenting their products. BESSEY appeared in a modern look to demonstrate that “ we are optimally suited for further growth”. The company targets are high, because BESSEY is aiming at a turnover of 140 million Euro in 2008 – partly by expanding its transactions abroad.
Our modern Exhibition Stand
What is particularly striking about the 180 square meter BESSEY Stand is the presentation of the products as they really are eye catchers for users. Professionals and Do-it yourself people were greatly interested in the newly designed representations of articles for business people. Novelties were projected on a big screen where visitors were informed about new items shown in the Stand.
A Fresh Logo
True to the BESSEY slogan “Simply better “ the innovative company presented its new Logo and in its new products catalogue intended for users at the trade-fair for the first time. On more than a 100 pages BESSEY shows very temptingly its clamping and cutting technology.
New Products
There were also a great number of new products presented by BESSEY in Cologne. The completely newly developed ERDI-Hightech shears of BESSEY can be used for cutting aramide fibres, carbon fibres, and glass fibres easily and with precision. The ERDI snips for sheet steel and the ERDI Multi – purpose cutters appeared in a new outfit in Cologne.
In addition, BESSEY presented the Best-Comfort-System for screw clamps - a modern two component handle with spindle and three different exchangeable pressure plates. The Omega clamp is another new tool. Thanks to the patented Omega bend, the clamping pressure of the All-steel screw clamp is retained longer even during vibrations.
