Walter Mörtl appointed new Managing Director with BESSEY TOOL

Change of management at BESSEY TOOL: Walter Mörtl joined the management of BESSEY, the world´s market leader in clamping and cutting systems on 1 October 2006.

"We want to be the leading innovators in the fields of clamping and cutting technologies and to strengthen our international activities still further", says the new BESSEY Managing Director. The 42-year old will head up the BESSEY Group jointly with Klaus Fuchs. Walter Mörtl will take control of the Tools Division, while Klaus Fuchs will be responsible for the Precision Steel Division.

Prior to this appointment, Walter Mörtl was Managing Director of a tool manufacturing company in the Black Forest. A graduate engineer, he previously worked for eight years for the tool wholesaling division of the Hoffmann Group.
