The classic re-released in 5 variations - all-steel screw clamps GZ
The original BESSEY GZ all-steel screw clamp has been the benchmark in clamping technology for over 50 years. Its flexible clamping system is used in a diverse range of applications in the fields of steel and wood processing. BESSEY has now brought the universally applicable GZ right up-to-date and is offering it in a total of 5 variations.
A forceful performance
The newly patented BESSEY bar profile now makes the GZ all-steel screw clamp even more powerful. In all, it is possible to develop a maximum pressure of 5,500 N; that is 500 N or "one cement bag" more than before. And with the new GZ now developing 20% more clamping force per spindle rotation, it also clamps even faster than before. The fixed clamping jaw and pressure plate are produced from one piece and are both heavy-duty and warp resistant. The newly designed sliding clamp with ultra stable U-shape, forged from a single piece, transfers the force directly to the bar during the clamping process.
Versatile in application
The new all-steel screw clamp is available with a tommy bar, wooden handle or 2-component plastic handle, each of which comes with an exchangeable standard pressure plate. In addition, BESSEY now offers the GZ with the pre-assembled FIN clamping force indicator in the tommy bar and 2-component plastic handle variations.
With all 5 variations it is possible to exchange the standard pressure plate and clamping force indicator for a special pressure plate with larger surface area or a stainless steel one (from 80 mm throat depth) without the use of tools.
Safe in practice
A range of all-steel bar clamps are now also available with the pre-assembled patented FIN clamping force indicator. A red ring indicates the clamping force dropping below 2,500 N (FIN 250) or 3,500 N (FIN 350). This provides for added safety during work.
The original BESSEY GZ all-steel screw clamps are available from specialist dealers in clamping openings of 100 mm to 1250 mm and throat depths of 60 to 120 mm. Prices vary depending on size between 13.80 EUR and 107.00 EUR.
