Innovation keeps us one step ahead
BESSEY clearly differentiates itself from the competition. On-going research and 50 years of expertise has been incorporated into the patented rail profile and its redesigned sliding arm. This innovation means that the quality and functionality of the BESSEY all-steel clamps are more than just up-to-date. They are the leading edge.
The innovative BESSEY all-steel rail profile was first successfully introduced on the SGM high-performance clamp. Then came the SLM fitter`s clamp. The two clamps are particularly suited for use in the area of metal and steel construction. The switchover to the new profile was rounded off with the Original BESSEY all-steel screw clamp GZ, which serves a range of applications in wood and metal construction. Finally the GH and Synchro-Lock GHSY lever clamps have now followed suit.
The fixed bracket`s new profiled shape means all next-generation BESSEY all-steel clamps can produce a greater build-up of clamping force in less time, in addition to offering greater strength and stability. The fixed bracket and pressure plate are made from one piece and hardened and tempered, which also makes the tool particularly durable.
The new high-performance, all-steel screw clamps achieve 20% more clamping force per spindle rotation, while also offering high resilience and torsional stiffness. The new lever clamps have greater reserves of force, and develop their clamping force particularly evenly. This is particularly true when using the full clamping width. The overall clamping force of all next-generation clamps has been increased by the BESSEY patented rail profile. This means that our new all-steel clamps can achieve increases of up to 10% in overall clamping force.
The redesigned sliding arm is high-tech in the smallest possible space. During the clamping process, its extremely stable U shape transfers the force in a linear manner and thus effectively to the rail – a proven approach which is already used in the design of steel girders.
