2. Data Processing

a. Scope of Processing Personal Data

We generally only process personal data of our users as far as this is necessary to provide a functioning website and our content and services. Personal data is regularly collected and used only after obtaining the user’s consent. An exception applies to cases in which prior consent cannot be obtained for reasons of fact and the processing of the data is permitted by law.

Insofar as we obtain the consent of the relevant person for processing personal data, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) serves as the legal basis. When processing personal data necessary for the fulfilment of a contract to which the relevant person is a party, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b of the GDPR serves as the legal basis. This also applies to processing opera-tions required to carry out precontractual actions. Insofar as processing personal data is re-quired to fulfil a legal obligation to which our company is subject, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c of the GDPR serves as the legal basis. In the event that vital interests of the relevant person subject or another natural person require the processing of personal data, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. d of the GDPR serves as the legal basis. If processing is necessary to safeguard the legitimate interests of our company or a third party, and if the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the relevant person do not prevail over the interest mentioned first, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f of the GDPR serves as the legal basis for processing

b. Data Deletion and Storage Duration

The personal data of the relevant person will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of the storage no longer applies. The data may be stored beyond such a time period if such storage is prescribed by the European or national legislature in provisions pertaining to European Union regulations, laws or other provisions to which the person responsible is subject. The data will also blocked or deleted when a storage period prescribed by the standards mentioned expires, unless it is neces-sary to further store the data for the conclusion or fulfilment of a contract.

3. Provision of the Website and Creation of Log Files

a. Description and Scope of Data Processing

Each time our website is visited, our system automatically collects data and information of the ac-cessing computer. The following data is collected in the process:

  • Information regarding the browser type and the version used
  • The operating system of the user
  • The Internet service provider of the user
  • The IP address of the user
  • Date and time of access
  • Websites from which the user’s system accesses our website
  • Websites accessed by the user’s system via our website

These log files contain IP address or other data that enable an assignment of the data to a user. This may be the case, for example, if the link to the website from which the user accesses the website or the link to the website to which the user is switching contains personal data. The data is also stored in the log files of our system. This data is not stored together with other personal data of the user. The legal basis for the temporary storage of data and log files is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f of the GDPR.

b. Purpose of Data Processing

The temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to allow delivery of the website to the computer of the user. To do this, the user’s IP address must be stored for the duration of the session. Storage in log files is carried out to ensure the functionality of the website. In addition, the data is used to optimise the website and ensure the security of our IT systems. The data is not evaluated for marketing purposes in this context. For these purposes, our legitimate interest in the processing of data is in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f of the GDPR.

c. Duration of Storage

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for the purpose of its collection. In the case of collecting the data for providing the website, this is the case when the respective session is completed. If data is stored in log files, this is the case after seven days at the latest. Further storage is possible. In this case, the IP addresses of the users are deleted or made unidentifiable, so that an assignment of the calling client is no longer possible.

d. Option for Objection and Removal

The collection of data for providing the website and the storage of the data in log files is essential for the operation of the website. Consequently, no objection on the part of the user is possible.

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for the purpose of its collection. The e-mail address of the user is therefore stored as long as the subscription to the newsletter is active. The newsletter is sent based on the user’s registration on the website. The other personal data collected during the registration process shall generally be deleted after a time period of seven days.

d. Option for Objection and Removal

The subscription to the newsletter may be terminated at any time by the relevant user. For this purpose, there is a corresponding link provided in each newsletter.

This data is not forwarded to third parties. The following data is collected during the registration process: Name, address, IP address of the user, date and time of the registration.

The consent of the user to process this data is obtained during the registration process. The legal basis for processing the data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a of the GDPR if the respective consent of the user is on hand. If the registration serves to fulfil a contract to which the user is a party or to carry out pre-contractual actions, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b of the GDPR also serves as the legal basis for processing the data.

b. Purpose of Data Processing

The storage of personal data is required during the term of the contract and for the entire warranty period as well as if it is required for the fulfilment of legal purposes, such as tax purposes, for example. The legal basis for processing the data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a of the GDPR if the respective consent of the user is on hand.

c. Duration of Storage

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for the purpose of its collection. This is the case for data collected during the registration process for the fulfilment of a contract or the execution of precontractual measures if such data is no longer required for the fulfilment of the contract. Even after having entered into a contract, it may be necessary to store personal data of the contractual partner to fulfil contractual or statutory requirements.

The data is used exclusively for processing the conversation.

The legal basis for processing the data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a of the GDPR if the respective consent of the user is on hand. The legal basis for processing the data that is transmitted in line with the sending of an e-mail is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a of the GDPR. If the purpose of the contact via email is the entering into a contract, the additional legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. Section 1 lit. b of the GDPR.

b. Purpose of Data Processing

If you leave a contribution or comment on this website, your IP address is stored. This is done on the basis of our legitimate interests within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. of the GDPR and serves our security as a website operator. For if your comment violates applicable law, we can be prosecuted, which is why we have an interest in the identity of the author of the comment or contribution. We only process the personal data from the input mask to process the contact. In the case of contact via e-mail, this also includes the required legitimate interest in the processing the data.

The other personal data processed during the sending process serves to prevent misuse of the contact form and to ensure the security of our IT systems.

c. Duration of Storage

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for the purpose of its collection. For the personal data from the input mask of the contact form and the data sent by e-mail, this is the case when the respective conversation with the user has ended.
